ACM (aluminum composite material) panels, ACP (aluminum composite panels) or that also called Sandwich Panel, is made up with two entirely different materials (metal and nonmetal). The whole panel might be made of 3 or more different layers, a low-density core, and a thin skin-layer bonded to each side. Sandwich panels are used in applications where a combination of high structural rigidity and low weight is required. It not only remains the main characteristics of the original component materials (metal aluminum, non-metallic polyethylene plastic), but also overcomes the shortcomings of the original component materials.
